RE: Ayre QB-9 in standby mode 'no device' in windows

I can tell for XP, but Seven is very similar.
Under System Properties, open Device Manager, View Resources by type.
There you can check what IRQ your USB port is using.

As you have various USB port with differnt IRQs, try also to plug your device into a different port.

Do you have other USB devices plgged in at the same time?
