Agree.

The SoX algorithm sounds great and results in essentially ideal output based on the http://src.infinitewave.ca/ data.

I see that the JRiver folks are using "Linear Phase, VHQ (Very High Quality), Steep Filter" settings based on the response in their forum. Indeed, this could take a few more CPU cycles but it would be a very slow computer these days to run into trouble with speed issues.
