Agreed. Those of us replying in this thread were forced to theorize because we didn't have hands on access to the problem. It seems the time for action has come. Move the NAS out of the room.

For years I had my entire system out of the room, except for the speakers and speaker wires. The equipment rack was on a floor below, with rack on a concrete slab. Sonically, this worked well, but at times it was aerobically challenging.
