I should think if you sampled the output of the amplifier with a good ADC with several filters driving several DACs driving the amplifier you would be able to see the effects of high frequency amplifier distortion by comparing the captured ADC data. This should even be visible after lowpass filtering the analog signal to the ADC (or digital filtering the ADC samples) to whatever you deem to be the "audio band", e.g. 20 kHz. It may take some effort to eliminate inaudible differences such as small gain errors or tiny (sub sample) time shifts that prevent getting good nulls, particularly if the ADC clock and the DAC clocks are not synchronous (which would be what you ideally would have for testing these DAC -- amplifier interactions, obviously not what you would want if you were doing jitter tests).
