It's more than the filters. Filtering mostly affects the 44.1 kHz tracks. There is still a big difference with the high res PCM material. I think it's just that Miksa's modulators are better than the one in the SABRE chip. All modulators create artifacts and these can have subtle sonic effects that can be much more important than filter effects.
