dBPoweramp comes with an easy to use file converter that will switch between formats. It also will do batch conversion, either all the files in one directory or for selected directories.
Best way to use it: Try converting a file first to make sure it's working the way you want. Then try converting an entire directory (album) and make sure that's the way you want it. Then try converting several albums to double check this. Then select your entire library and let her rip...
I you have a huge library, you may want to do blocks overnight if you need to use your computer for other things during the day.
