Why I will not purchase any Apple products

Couldn't agree more.

As we geezer anachronisms die off, it will become easier and easier for the 0.01% controlling all the major corporations (including Apple) to extract ever increasing amounts of money and control over the 99.99% who will become slaves. These slaves will be expected to be satisfied with the crumbs thrown at them and be entertained by music without regard to sound quality, providing the minimum requirements are met: ability to recognize the tune and understand the lyrics.

Support of these corporations is, IMO, support of the future enslavement of mankind.
