Yes, but you may need to power cycle

REGEN appears to computing hardware and software as a USB hub. it is unlikely that adding it will cause a compatibility problem. However, it may be necessary to power down your computer and DAC, add REGEN between them, and power back up all three devices. (This may be necessary so that your operating system can properly discover the new "Generic USB Hub" added between the "USB Root Hub" and the "DAC Device".)

The goal is "plug and play". The reality sometimes is, "plug, power down, power up and then play." Unless you were power cycling all three devices simultaneously, I would power up the REGEN and DAC first and then power up the computer if you experience any problems. Be prepared to wait while your operating system searches for a suitable driver for a "Generic USB Hub". This may require an Internet connection the first time you try to use the REGEN, but after that there will not be an issue.
