RE: More gadgets to hang off your gear

The implication of "can't get better isolated" is that optical isolation is perfect. However, this is not the case. If it were then all bit perfect computers behind an optical USB (and running an ASYNC protocol) would sound alike. However, they do not and there are good reasons for this that have been explained by John Swenson.
