People keep talking about noise. Yes, of course there is and can be noise. Easy to find examples where a guy hears noise placing their DAC or preamp or whatever beside their computer / cell phone / hard drive / etc...
But as time goes on, these concerns broaden into low power devices with very low chance of causing significant interference - like these switches often placed feet away and people concerned over ethernet cables picking up this and that.
So if one could point out an example where we can isolate a source of noise from a switch creating problems with a (hopefully decent) DAC, then we can at least learn something about what to get or what not to get.
Otherwise we learn nothing of substance, just a bunch of unsubstantiated claims, and can't provide any clear advice when people ask for suggestions.
