I don't get glitches the way my PC is set up and normally operated. However, I do stress testing to see what happens, including doing very heavy DSP, running other "soak" processes to place additional load on the system, adjusting various audio buffer sizes to the edge of stuttering, etc... This is margin testing and I can see how stable the system is, i.e. how far my normal operation is from the breaking point. When I am done, I put things back to where they were.
