RE: Low Power King

I would assume that you can plug a keyboard and mouse into the USB ports and a screen into the display port and power up the machine and get to the BIOS settings and put the machine in a configuration to boot from a USB port. This is the way I set up my Intel NUC, which is running Linux as a server machine.

My 12 TB NAS can be configured to boot from USB by the same technique if one wants to bypass its built in firmware. (However, the box has no external display connector so doing this requires opening up the box and playing around with header cables.) In the case of my NAS I was able to hack the code without opening the box, since it was possible to enable SSH via the regular web interface and then SSH to the box and get root access, add additional OS features, etc... (The Linux base was very stripped down.)
