All the "green" computer stuff is BS. It may make sense for battery powered devices, but for wired computers it wastes people's time saving resources which are 100x less valuable than our time.
Not to mention after years there are still all kinds of power management bugs in all types of software that disappear once the computers are left powered up 24/7.
Not to mention sound quality issues from all of this extraneous crap.
