RE: Ethernet Cables Continued: Suggested Reading

If you don't have an Ethernet cable, then most likely changing the brand of the cable you don't have will make no difference. :-)

If you have an Ethernet cable that is connected to part of your audio system even if it is not in use it is certainly possible that it can affect the sound quality you get when you play from cache. And if you have some other computing devices nearby that aren't directly connected to your audio system but are powered up then it is even possible that their Ethernet cables might affect the sound quality. Possible. Definitely. Likely? Depends. If you are curious, you can experiment.
