Ethernet signaling uses pulses in the RF range. The adapters are required to have galvanic isolation that survives high fault voltages for safety reasons. I would be surprised if an Ethernet implementation that comes close to conforming to the Ieee802 specifications would affect or be affected by ground loop problems. But then, I haven't had any ground loop problems for decades, except for a while while I foolishly had a cable TV box connected with my audio components.
If there are ground loop problems something in the system is junk, either one or more components or your power wiring. I am talking junk, whether by design or manufacturer or wear, tear and age. Even mid-fi equipment should not have ground loop problems.
