RE: Is there a research or white paper for lamp cord?

We are talking about digital cables here. This is not the same as analog cables as, among other things, the frequencies are different and transmission line theory is essential to make them work properly.

There is a lot of research work on twisted pair wiring for high speed digital, such as the various cat 5, 6, 7 Ethernet cables. In the past I've had occasion to work with people designing the physical signalling for Ethernet and they worked with the cable manufacturers to reach suitable engineering tradeoffs between the circuitry and the cable, dealing with reliable data transmission at defined speeds and distances while meeting various emissions requirements.

So yeah, there are cable engineers who design digital cables and publish papers about that, just not at audio companies that I am aware of. I would be happy to read a few marketing white papers that didn't prove to be BS.
