"They said, without exception, that they have not yet implemented DSD capability on their DACs because they have not come up with a satisfactory to implement DSD without compromising the PCM performance, especially, if they use over sampling, or upsampling, which is a very valid approach."
Translation, "We are working on this, but we haven't completed it yet. We don't dare tell you about our plans, because if we did so it would make it difficult to liquidate our inventory of older products. Our product managers are completing a product phase-in plan which will be announced at a suitable time."
As to recording statistics, these need to be broken down by musical genre to be relevant. Mostly, these are business statistics and are really of no concern to audiophiles who are in the hobby out of a love of music and not for greed. To my knowledge I don't own any Warner group recordings, nor do I have the slightest interest in obtaining any such. (However, I could be mistaken, because it is hard to follow the machinations of Wall Street Financiers and their ilk.) Most of my recordings have been from small independent labels who have focused in making quality recordings of music directed to intelligent and educated listeners. My personal dream includes the total destruction of all mass culture, including the "music industry". In the remote event this dream comes about, organizations such as the Warner Group who exist to exploit both musicians and their audiences would be relegated to the dust-bin of history.
