Agree, Bob. How bizarre of a statement from an "audio engineer".

I happily use TP-Link stuff for my gigabit switches in the home theater and they work great currently. I have tried some of their routers in the past but have stuck with ASUS for years now and have been more trouble free.

Assuming the connection is fast and reliable; it's not as if this makes an an iota of sonic difference IMO ;-).

BTW: I'm looking at getting the Netgear R7000 (AC1900) for the wireless & home router - best in class WAN to LAN and vice versa with excellent wireless throughput. A bit expensive compared to others but that's to be expected for the feature set at this point...
