So... You want to stream 320kbps lossy audio by ethernet vs. WiFi and this could somehow both sound different AND some of the sonic difference could be attributed to the Thunderbolt-Ethernet adapter?Assuming the above could be true (which for the record I doubt), what principle do you foresee could be causing this sonic difference?
The above question is important because unless there's some reasonable hypothesis around this, how do you know what needs to be optimized to achieve this better sound? Because an "audiophile manufacturer" claims so if they were to produce such a device?
BTW: I'm sure most folks know this, but for those unaware, 320kbps is 40KB/sec. This is EXTREMELY SLOW for ethernet or WiFi.
