Science you say?

Why do we need DSD? The link below I think is quite clear about the questionable benefits. Yet to hear from DSD apologists with science or objectivity - all I see are nonsense graphs of questionable benefit to audio.

Ask yourself, what 'sound' is an impulse? Why is perfect response important? Are you sure that within the bandwidth limits of human hearing temporal resolution isn't perfect already in existing PCM?
