Absolutely Serge. In fact, the files are all FLAC (mainly to keep the files as small as possible for downloading). Just convert them to WAV 16/44 as you noted.

In fact, do *not* convert to MP3 since this will make the testing invalid. Just listen to them as is and conversion among lossless formats like FLAC/APE/WV/WAV/AIFF/ALAC are all fine.
