Seriously guys... Just how much *true* 24/192 is there?

Over the years, I've downloaded maybe 10 titles from HDTracks - about 5 or 6 24/192 - mostly rock / jazz, including this Norah Jones "Come Away With Me".

Not ONE as I can recall can be considered "native" 24/192. Some are clearly DSD --> 24/192 conversions, others like Norah Jones at best analogue tape to digital transfers.

If you run "Come Away" thru a frequency analyser, you'll see there are no frequencies of value above about 25kHz. Sure, better than the old CD --> SACD upsampling (one of many such titles!). Everything from 25kHz up is noise. This is why I happily downsampled it for my music server to 24/96 without concern.

Bottom line is I am "done" with HDTracks until they implement some kind of customer review system where others can post feedback. Just too much "fake" high-res tracks out there.
