A nice win for market forces...

About 2 or 3 years ago, a few here including myself questioned just what exactly Amarra does that's all that difference from standard "bit perfect". Remember the goobledygook Sonic Studios came up with in that ridiculous white paper trying to explain the "complex mathematics" this program apparently did?

With the advent of BitPerfect, Decibel, Pure Music, etc... There's really nothing special about Amarra; just variation of features. Nobody could ever explain in what way this software was worth $1000.

It's good to see market forces cutting out the BS to truly reflect what products are truly worth although it took a couple years. Likewise, my feeling is that other items of questionable pseudo-scientific benefits will suffer the same fate (think obscene expensive cables, Synergistic Tranquility Base, etc...)
