Not saying anything "definitive" fmak... RE: So,

I'm not drawing anything "definitive" here. Just wanted to put out there details of a test I have personally done and a methodology which I believe takes out many variables. For example I have not heard anyone doing a test where they can switch the audio from one playback method to another within a couple seconds.

I have nothing to sell and I've spent a decent amount of $$$ into equipment which I believe makes a difference as far as I can tell. It is in fact with tests like this that I base my purchases on (unless cheap like $50 software), and of course shapes my opinion about audio hardware - the difference between my reality and advertising hype...
