That's interesting. Being a digital guy, didn't know about the above.

Well, I guess it's not surprising they're using all these old designs (I presume some of these copyrights/patents are public domain?).

On the digital side, I look at their top-of-the-line DAC5's and I see they're using the AD1865 DAC as the heart of a $50,000 machine! 18-bit, non-oversampling from the early 90's.

Thanks but no thanks, Peter. Not saying it sounds bad since I'm sure the DAC is quite capable, but IMO the science has progressed whether he believes it or not.
