These days, I just use the Stereophile CD2 Track 26 which simulates 10ns jitter of 11kHz sine wave in an ABA fashion.If the system can easily discriminate the simulated jitter for me, then I have no reason to think there's major jitter issues in the system as a whole.
I recently installed a Behringer DEQ2496 into one of my systems for digital EQ (digital loop through my Transporter) with inexpensive 6ft optical cables. Even with this setup, I hear no degradation so I'm not concerned. Obviously YMMV.
BTW: As I've said here and on a few other forums, I have heard very expensive systems fail this simple test over the years.
