That's because most other sports reporters are educated about the game of football. This guy is an ass-clown, if you search hard enough, you will find that ass-clowns can get published too. My team is in the Big 10, which is a pathetic league. Anyone who watches college football seriously knows that the SEC is the best, it's why they've won 6 straight National titles.
The powers that be want to make sure that someone HAS to beat an SEC team to claim the national championship for it to have any merit. If you win a national championship without having to play an SEC team, you haven't won anything.
My guess is that you are a Notre Dame fan who is sh!tting in his pants at the thought of having to play Alabama. I don't blame you for rather playing K State or Oregon, the Tide will roll over ND.
