....in Atlanta, GA, just like it is every year, in the SEC Championship game. The SEC IS the most dominant conference, without question. I expect Bama to beat Georgia, and roll over The Irish for the 7th straight National title for the SEC.
Sure, the SEC has haters, as every dominant champion does. There will always be those that root for the underdog, and occasionally, the underdog will win a game. My team is in the Big 10, but as one who knows the game of football, I'd be a fool to think that any other conference can go toe-to-toe with the SEC. Maybe in the future, but not in the last decade.
I was just glad to see Oregon and K State lose, because IMHO, you cannot have a National Championship game without a SEC team. Yes, that conference is THAT strong. If they had played a National Championship game without an SEC team, that game would have been a farce. I will accept a non-SEC team being a National Champion, if, and only if, they beat an SEC team on the field of play.
