These Quads have not been rebuilt. I was listening on a Scott 299C to the MFSL version of "The Wall" when it happened. The bass just started vibrating and I had to turn the volume down to get it under control...then ease back up. I was on the 8 ohm tap. Switching to 16 ohms seems to give me a little more room to crank the volume....everything sounds more open as well.
