I decided to replace the stock binding post on my 3.6's with post that accept spades and noticed that there were a lot of, what appears to be, steel parts similiar to the jumper in the crossover. The wires all appear to be some kind of steel alloy, unless its silver coated, solder to steel ring terminal which are screwed on by the steel stock binding post. I've read a lot of threads here where people are hearing big improvments just by changing the jumpers to copper, please enlighten me.
