Crossover for SMGA 's and 1.5's

I have a pair of rebuilt SMGA's with hardwood/baltic birch ply stands and the Peter Gunn design crossover. I have a chance to purchase a very clean pair of 1.5's, and was wondering if the upgraded crossover's from my SMGA's would work with the 1.5's, or what would I need to change the crossover to use them as an upgraded crossover in the 1.5's. Or would the difference in sound between the 2 models not be worth the hassle.

The SMGA's have served me well and still sound very nice.
