RE: Foil for my MGIII's?

Maybe not, as I've said, I'm really not sure how much of a contribution electrical damping makes to reducing traveling waves. In conventional drivers, acoustical damping predominates at higher frequencies. And AFAIK series attenuating midrange resistors don't do any harm.
