I do see that USC did play one legitimate non-conference team, Notre Dame. How did that work out for your squad?
Yes, Florida State is 3-6 now, but they were ranked #4 when Alabama played them. Losing your star QB can hurt most programs.
What do you think USC's record would be right now if Sam Darnold went out for the season in week 1? I'm sure you wouldn't be 9-2.
Of course you don't have tough teams like Clemson or Miami in the PAC 12, so USC might be 6-5, or 7-4 without Darnold.
I don't have a problem with two SEC teams in the final 4.
My team is Penn State, in Big 10 country. However, any astute football eye can see that the SEC is the dominant conference.
All you have to do is look at NFL rosters on Sunday to see that the cream rises to the top.
Watching SEC football is as close to watching an NFL game as you can get on a Saturday.
