I miss my little buddy ...

Every day when I opened the bedroom door she'd be waiting for me. Annie would greet me with meows and rub up against my legs.
I'd say "hey", pet her and we'd head down to the kitchen for breakfast.

When I got home from work and opened the door from the garage, she was there to welcome me home.
She would follow me upstairs, wait while I changed and then I'd usually get on the computer for awhile and she would be in my lap.

Then we'd have dinner. When Annie finished hers she'd come sit next to me while I finished mine.

She always ...and I mean always ...watched me wash the dishes. Once done I'd giver her a cat treat and we'd head downstairs to watch TV or listen to music.
Once I was settled she would hop on my lap for the evening.

Whenever I was working around the house she would follow me around as I worked. If the kids were home she'd follow us from room to room. Annie loved being around people.

If I took a walk around the block she'd sit in the window and watch me.

She was sweet, attentive and could be damned funny at times.

The house is empty without her.

If cats, as people are said to, pass on to a better place ...Annie is now in paradise. I hope so.

I'm heartbroken. I miss my buddy.

Dean.
