Chicago and the Doobies ...

I saw them both for the first time on Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve back in '74. Been a fan of both ever since.

They make a good pair for a concert. Many Doobie tunes have horns and although they have a mighty fine sax player (Marc Russo), when the Chicago horns get behind them its much like when The Tower of Power played with Little Feat. Very cool.

I'm looking forward to seeing them.
