I've had six of them. I bought the one pictured below in 1999 and drove it about 150K miles before I gave it to my daughter who drove it back and forth from CT to school in MA for four years, putting roughly another 50K on it.
I then bought my daughter an '08 Accord and gave my son the '99. The odometer now sits at about 235K and its at my house while my son is at school. Never a moments trouble. Ever.
When we bought the '08 they offered us $8K for the '99 in trade. I paid $17K for it and it had 200K miles on it at the time. It has a V6 and catches lots of folks by surprise when they try to mess with me. It is quick and burns no oil.
I'd like to go back in time and buy another one. Its my favorite Accord body style.
Dean.
reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
