primary side has two wires. one red. one blue.
Red goes to ground
Blue goes to the plate of your tube
The blocking cap must be on the blue leg (to block both the dc voltage and dc current)... i.e., the cap MUST be in btwn the plate of the tube and the "top" (ac high side) (blue lead) of the transformer.Again, DO NOT put the cap in the bottom (or ground leg) of the transformer as this exposes the transformer to the very high dc voltages from the power supply.
