Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

Choosing a diy speaker project

Hi all:

I want to build a set of speakers to match a recently built pair of Welborne Labs DRD 300B. My problem is that there is so much information in the web that I can´t decide which way to take.

I have selected some diy projects that are:

- Supravox 215 sig. bicone in Supravox recommended TQWT
- Fostex FE 206E or FE-207E in MJKing MLTL virtual project
- Fostex FE 168E sigma in Fostex recommended BLH or Nagaoka D-37
- Fidelio with PM2A Lowther

They are going to play in a 5 x 7 m. (16 x 23 foot) family room, mainly not very loud jazz music. WAF limits their size to a floostander type. This is not my first experience in speaker building, so I am not to much worried about the dificulties to build them.

I like to feel the bass notes but, if needed, I can use a subwofer.

I'd greatly appreciate any comets and suggestions to help me to decide.

Thanks.
