Altec A7-500 / 2a3 amp speaker cable dilemma.

Please help me decide. In trying to squeeze out the most magic that I can from my Altec/2a3 system, I am turning my attention to the speaker cables. I think I am either going to have my Audiquest type-4 wires cryogenically treated, or zap them with the magic wand I found at a flea market. Money is no object, as I am serious about my music and would seek out the best of labs for the cryo job. The wand, btw, is a very expensive, authentic Arthurian-era wizard type. The dealer that sold it to me bought it from an English estate and swears by its authenticity. Anyway, here is my dilemma. It would seem obvious at first to just say the appropriate words and zap the wires with the wand and get it over with, but I have heard such great things about cryogenic treatment of cables that I feel I should try it. But, and this is a big but, I am afraid that if I use first one method and then the other, I will overstress the electrons and risk pissing them off. I dont want that. Has anyone tried both methods? What could be the affects of hyper-irritated electrons? Could I damage my speakers? Or worse?
