I nedd to check and align a pair of Altec 416. I used to use acetone to soften surround and spider but it takes overnight and multiple soaking with the brush to do so. Recently my friend asked me whats the best solvent for his Kef's woofer spider and reported that acetone did not work. So, what's good for old and newer drivers? Rgrds, W
