I built a pair of HD, they sounded horrible, sold them and was told by new owner I had built the crossovers wrong. Needless to say I did not feel too bad as I found out the drivers have been changed from the early production units loosing the magic sound the earlier units had. Years later I bought a pair of Klipsch Forte, far better looking and nicely efficient at 98db. A freind has a pair of HD and Klipsch Forte, he listens to the Forte while the HD sit. Good luck.
