My dealer recommended 200 hours of break-in which I just completed. My results mirror that of the other posters. I find that filter #1, noise shaper off, DC filter off works best for me. I have been turning the power off after use. The display remains on when there is no disc loaded and the power is on. I would be concerned about the life of the display from being on all the time.
