Forward it to an iPhone ...

You can listen to voicemail through headphones on an iPhone.

Get a mini-jack to dual-RCA cable and connect the headphone jack on your phone to the line-in on a cassette deck (or CD recorder).

Turn the volume on your phone way down so you don't overload the inputs on the recording device.

There will be some trial and error to find what level output on the phone works best with what input level setting on the recorder.

This will work. Its how I recorded concerts off my TV when I was a kid.

There may be a way to do the same and use your computer as the recorder, but I am audio guy and know nothing about computers.

So sorry to hear about your wife. I hope you are able to preserve the recording.

Best of luck.

Dean.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
