Female audiophiles

I think it is pretty well accepted that this is a male dominated hobby. I know there are a few female inmates here in the asylum, but some also don't disclose that they are female.

I wonder what our hobby would be like if there were, in fact, a larger presences of female audiophiles. [I also wonder how geopolitics would be different if we had more female leaders of countries.] Would there be differences in the design of equipment? Would discussions of the hobby be different, either in content or tone? Would our appreciation of recorded music be changed?

Just some late night thoughts. I do wish there were more women audiophiles as I think it would enrich the enjoyment of the hobby.
