A "Thick as Thieves" movie comes to mind. Rich people do buy plenty of useless stuff anyway. Tons of it as a matter of fact.I know some who bought nice systems ,don't listen to it at all but have no regrets whatsoever that they spent the money.
Personally, I would love to have Sonos speakers and that kind of attention to music I had before I began drowning in the exhaustion of hi-fi lore. Alas, I'm doomed now and trying to save a little of myself listening to table and car radios, or cheap mid-fi where quality doesn't even enter the consideration which allows to concentrate on the content.
