And who is mostly to blame for that state of affairs?. Manufacturers? Who is guiding and depriving the gullible public for decades and promote the trends you used to hate so much Richard? You excluded yourself from the career of REVIEWER the moment you became avid and most exalted fan and promoter of Audio Note UK in North America for last decade ,don't you see that? It's over , you're never going to be a credible reviewer even if you buy 10 Kef speakers there is no way back into the mainstream .Stop pretending and save yourself from that rotten club. These winks and helpful hand you extend and attempts of public solidarity are meaningless.
You exposed yourself too much. Art Dudley could do it after he "transformed" himself from an avid mainstream's press critic in Listener into the savior of a little guy in Stereophile. What a brilliant move he can take now with both hands and everybody loves him. At least he is not selling stolen cables on Audiogon which makes him a decent person in this circle. It is not a personal at all. I like your posts and always liked Audio Note AND I NEVER IN ANY SHOW I attended heard bad sound in AUDIO NOTE room, and it more often than not sounded spectacular compared to the level presented by competition regardless of price. Also it was always the room which played wonderful selection of music and I never witnessed Dave Cope kissing reviewer's arse ,which I cannot say of majority exhibitors whom I have no heart to blame. So here you go Richard . Once you switched that badge from an audiophile into REVIEWER life is gonna get little tougher and better widen your music choices horizon quickly cuz what you're serving now as your reference points is not going to fly far. Good luck my friend.
PS , Hmmm maybe I should become a reviewer ??
