Give Service Wide Tech a call first and ask about the flat fee. They may not charge the full fee for something simple. Its been a few years since I dealt with them, so I don't remember the details of the transaction. To be honest, I would look around for a TSU3500 versus another TSU7500 or 7000. TSU3500s run in the $60 range for a clean unit, and is a lower investment for the same functions as you get with the color models. As I said, I own both the 7500 and 3500. My 3500 sees more use than the 7500, which serves more the role of a spare. Inspite of the 3500 being monochrome, I don't miss the 7500's color display. That novelty wore itself out a long time ago as I focus on function, not pretty colors.
