Well I'm not too familiar with Innersound, other than I know that CODA built their amps, but I know for a fact that CODA also designed and built the Legacy amps. Bill Duddleston of Legacy, is a speaker designer, he subcontracted CODA to design and build amps for them. I suspected that CODA had the same arrangement with Innersound, though I cannot be sure.
CODA was started in the late 80's by three former Threshold engineers, so they have a long history of amplifier designing. CODA is not into playing the marketing games, which is why they are a smaller name than many others in the SS marketplace. The founding members would prefer to just design and build amplifiers, which is why they took on work of other companies.
I'm currently running a CODA Model 11 amplifier, an 85 pound beast that puts out 100 wpc of pure Class A power. 20 years ago it listed for $5500, and it's still running strong.
