RE: No way that it makes a profound difference

There are at least fifteen high end cable manufacturers that routinely employ cryogenics in the manufacturing process. Not to mention electronics manufacturers that routinely employ cryogenics. Thus, chances are quite good that if you happen to purchase high end equipment cryo IS in the listening room. Do you have any idea how many cryogenics labs there are that treat audio components and cables, etc. at least in part of their business? (Rhetorical question)

"It was almost 25 years ago that George Tice stunned the audiophile community with his Radio Shack clock. To date "audiophiles" haven't exactly adopted his clock as a necessary improvement in their audio systems. It is a question of efficacy: if there was a real improvement there would be a clock in every listening room. It is the same with cryogenic treatment.

Hmmm...So, you believe what "audiophiles" adopt as being a necessary improvement is the criterion for the success of a product? I doubt it has anything to do with efficacy. Most likely it has to do with listening ability and system resolution, not to mention budget. Do you know how many Tice Clocks were sold? :-)
