Beware of Ebay member 2xplosve.
My apologies to the gentleman in Germany which has a look-alike Ebay ID. This one is from Baton Rouge, LA.
He hides under the name of Royce Stewart, owns an independent record label and is house musician at Civello Studios in Baton Rouge.
He doe not answer his phone or emails. Here is all the data I could gather:
His email address is:civellostudios@yahoo.com
Address:
Royce Stewart
7930 La Salle Avenue
Baton Rouge LA 70806
USATel. +1 (225) 8027888
Company on The Fedex bill : E.T. Electronics Baton Rouge. (they claim they don’t know recognize the transaction).
His technique is to buy lots of cheap stuff from Ebay, in order to accumulate positive feedback. He lists a for-sale item. He contacts bidders off Ebay and offer an item related to the one under auction, as a private deal.
A friend of mine who wants to remain nameless purchased an SME tonearm that was pictured on an auction, mounted to an Oracle turntable. Because this crook had 100% feedback (mostly as a buyer), my friend sent him $1900 through Paypal and in exchange received an SME manual and cable via Fedex.
Paypal and Fedex did not help, neither can Ebay, because this was a private deal.
I decided to post the seller's data because I always do a Google search on a person's name, email and address before I send payment on private transactions. This technique has saved me from being scammed twice already, in the past 5 years.Do any inmates know of a site where I can register this scam? I am also looking for a people-finder site that allows non-US registrations.
Thanks in advance for your help
